We have an exciting new job opportunity for a Senior Customer Service Advisor to join our Retail Customer Service team based in Claygate, Surrey and provide a friendly, informative support service to our store staff, volunteers and customers.

A Customer Services professional, you'll excel in assisting customers by processing and resolving issues by phone and in written formats in a timely manner and maintaining accurate records of all enquiries. You will also support the Customer Service Manager to provide supervision and support to team colleagues.

Dealing with around 3,000 enquiries per month, the team actively promotes the delivery of excellent customer service through running regular training workshops for our store managers in-line with the BHF ambition to become a world class organisation.

About you

You'll benefit from a vibrant and friendly working environment. An enthusiastic leader, you'll enjoy resolving escalated issues and be able to investigate new measures and procedures to ensure these issues do not continuously recur. You'll lead by example, supervising the team to help manager the smooth running of the department.

With customer service and administration experience you will also have experience of dispute resolution. You'll have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable supporting and supervising the wider team and colleagues ensuring a customer focused outlook with the customer being at the heart of every interaction.

You'll also have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail matched by excellent IT skills and intermediate/advanced excel skills, able to extract and manipulate data and provide customer insight.
