We have an exciting opportunity for a bright, ambitious individual, with a passion for communications to play a key role in our Internal Communications team and the work we do in retail.

You will be integral to the smooth operation of our shops and stores by making sure the key messages get to the right people at the right time. You'll do this by maintaining a planning and production schedule and working closely with colleagues to improve the quality of our content.

As our Retail Internal Communications Coordinator you'll help to deliver regular communications and updates from the Retail teams through a range of channels, ensuring clarity and consistency of our messages. With over 730 British Heart Foundation (BHF) shops and stores across the nations we always have something to talk about and you will be absolutely vital in delivering those messages in a structured, engaging and easy way to understand.

About you

In this fast paced environment you will be flexible with workload and be able to meet tight deadlines to publish our work and updates. To excel in this role, you'll need to get behind our ambition to be a world class internal communications team and take real pride in your work. Ultimately, you'll be working to improve the engagement of staff and volunteers with the BHF, helping to raise funds to power our life saving research.

A team player with a willingness to test and try new ways of engaging colleagues using arrange of channels you'll have a real passion for engagement and internal communications. You will also have experience of managing an intranet or content management system and excellent knowledge of SharePoint 2010.

With excellent writing skills you'll have ideally worked in and have experience of internal communications within organisations with a geographically dispersed workforce.
