We're looking for a new Finance Analyst to join our talented Finance team in Claygate, Surrey. You'll be a critical and influential member of the Finance directorate. Along with the Finance Business Partner, you will inform much of the dialogue between Finance and Retail, therefore an ability to communicate at all levels is essential to success.

You'll take a proactive approach in identifying the finance needs of the Retail Division and deliver intelligent responses. You'll both challenge and support the business, assisting them to achieve the BHF's strategic goals.

About you

The successful candidate will be a part qualified CCAB accountant, or have equivalent relevant experience. An understanding of technical accounting fundamentals are required, preferably with intent to attain full qualification.

With relevant experience of management accounting/reporting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis, you'll ideally have basic knowledge of Charity Finance requirements in particular with regard to restricted reserves and VAT.

You'll be intellectually curious & challenging and show great initiative. With excellent communication skills you'll be able to develop strong working relationships with the team and key contacts throughout the organisation and have a good eye for detail. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are required.
