About the role

We have an exciting opportunity in our Digital team for a Development Team Lead to manage a small team of internal developers and lead our work with external agencies to develop solutions for a wide range of projects and enhancements. Our main site is based on a SiteCore 8 platform and receives over 1 million visitors per month and you will take the lead in the development of our site.

This is a hands-on development role and you'll be responsible for designing and developing excellent technical solutions to meet business requirements.

About you

Instrumental in delivering improvements in digital user experience, system integration and internal system processes the successful candidate will have a computing/ technology degree or equivalent training and experience and be a certified SiteCore developer (ideally on V8).

You will also have knowledge of JAVA Script, JQuery and related frameworks alongside excellent ASP .net skills (MVC framework).

With a first class development brain you'll have experience of development experience including SiteCore as well as exposure to system design and designing technical architect. You'll have strong communication skills and be able to build excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and be able to effectively articulate complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
