About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity in our Healthcare Innovation team as our Alliance and Communities of Practice Manager to manage our Alliance programme which will engage, grow and mobilise healthcare professionals in line with strategic objectives and improve outcomes for those living with or affected by Cardiovascular Disease (CVD).
The BHF Alliance programme is our membership programme, providing support and development to health and social care professionals to achieve improved outcomes for those living with or at risk of CVD. We have ambitious plans for the programme and are looking for the right person to join the team to drive this forward.
About you
The successful candidate will either be a Registered General Nurse, Allied Healthcare Professional, or have substantial experience of working closely with healthcare professionals. You'll have either a programme management qualification or significant programme management experience including a strong track record of developing and managing complex programmes of work ideally within a healthcare environment. You'll have knowledge or experience of the voluntary sector and the NHS and experience of developing educational initiatives to develop professional clinical workforce and ensure evidence based practice.
Able to listen, engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels you'll have a strong track record of developing and managing complex programmes of work, ideally within a healthcare environment.
You'll be highly independent and be able to identify strategic opportunities and develop clear, efficient and logical plans to achieve goals. You will also have performance management skills in relation to staff and project delivery, organisational and strong time management skills combined with a flexible, can do attitude.
