We're looking to recruit an IT Project Manager, to lead the technical implementation of a National Database of Defibrillator (NDD) which will be actively used by every ambulance service in the UK.

BHF is leading this major change programme across the 14 UK Ambulance Services, aiming to transform the mapping of defibrillators and their deployment with the intention of increasing survival rates from out of hospital cardiac arrest. You'll work closely with the programme team, emergency services from across the UK and multiple technology partners to ensure the successful delivery of the NDD.

The technical development and implementation will be conducted in blended AGILE (Scrum) \ Prince2 environment. You'll be responsible for managing the delivery, planning and implementation of the technical components of the NDD.

About you

The successful candidate will be a focused and energetic Project Manager who has delivered structured end-to-end projects. You will have a Project Management qualification, either Prince2 or Agile. A business and/or computing degree is desirable.

Demonstrable hands on project management ability and detailed knowledge of Microsoft development architectures and technologies is essential. Specific knowledge of Microsoft Technologies and SQL would be advantageous. Previous project management experience is required with experience of application deliveries very desirable.

Please note the role will primarily be based at BHF London offices but will require some travel to individual Ambulance Services across the UK as the project progresses.
