About the role

We are looking to recruit a Group and Volunteering Manager to engage and inspire community teams to maximise and establish new fundraising groups. This will include the retention, renewal and growth of existing groups and branches; and the development of fundraising volunteer networks across the South of England

Based from home you will liaise closely with Area Fundraising Managers and Fundraising Managers within your geographical location and identify opportunities to recruit and develop fundraising groups and volunteers. This will involve supporting and mentoring Fundraising Managers to successfully deliver group targets and manage existing group relationships whilst also providing support to Area Fundraising Managers in carrying out research work to reach target locations for new group formations.

Please note this role will cover the South of England, predominantly the South East, London and East.
About you

The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of branch and group fundraising / volunteer management whilst also be experienced at supporting, coaching and mentoring team members and colleagues. Working with a dispersed team you will need a full UK driving licence and experience of working remotely, being able to manage and motivate yourself.

With excellent communication, networking, influencing and relationship building skills you'll be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder. You will ensure you keep up to date with developments within your region and have the resilience to hit deadlines and meet targets.
