About the role
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure and Security Specialist to join our growing Information Security function at the British Heart Foundation (BHF). You will be a key player in supporting the security programme and ensuring that we quickly and effectively identify and improve appropriate security controls.
You’ll provide world class support to the organisation, working specifically on security and privacy related projects and will support the organisation to ensure ongoing technical compliance. You’ll be a key role in the rollout of various security technologies and ensuring architectural consistency in line with existing support structures.
About you
The successful candidate will have strong network security skills as well as an understanding of ITIL, architectural and security frameworks. You’ll have extensive experience in an infrastructure background with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, to identify and fix issues, quickly and efficiently.
Adhering to the highest professional standards you’ll have experience working in a retail operation or software development. With excellent communications skills, you will be able to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders working at different sites of the business. A strong team player, with the ablity to encourage others and take a lead where necessary.
We need a proactive, people person, who has experience in a geographically diverse organisation in a Head Office function with a flexible and realistic approach to all aspects of security.
