Role summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data & Analytics Reporting Analyst to join us and play a pivotal role in providing, implementing, supporting and maintaining new and existing British Heart Foundation (BHF) reporting packages. 

Maintaining and developing reports and analytics for the BHF you will develop solutions to address use needs and aid insight. You will also liaise with customers to determine their reporting requirements and document the business reporting changes, including design, testing specifications and user guides.

You'll use your understanding of various technologies to create and maintain regular data analysis and reporting within the BHF environment. It will be your responsible ensuring that reporting schedules and associated documentation are maintained to a high quality.

About you 

The successful candidate will have an MS SQL professional qualification or proven relevant workplace experience, as well as being an experienced SQL Reporting Developer with significant experience or equivalent Microsoft certification.

With previous exposure to and an understanding of Business Intelligence and its related concepts, you'll have the ability to work on your own initiative, being able to handle competing demands and meet tight deadlines on various projects. Strong time management and excellecent organisational skills are required.

You’ll have a solid understanding of Relational Data Modelling and data integration issues (validation and cleaning). Familiar with complex data and structures, you will be able to design and implement reporting solutions using best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.

With excellent written and verbal communication skills you will be a team player, with the ability to take a collaborative approach, working with colleagues across the business and continuously seek to improve services to meet customer needs.
