The What Works Centre for Children and Families is looking is seeking an exceptional Evidence & Evaluation Officer to join the team.

Position: Evidence and Evaluation Officer

Location: London/Hybrid

Hours: Full-time 35 hours per week, flexible working available

Salary: £45,000 plus generous benefits

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

Closing Date: 15 December 2024

Interviews: w/c 6 January 2025 (online)

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, managing, and quality-assuring evaluations across a diverse and impactful portfolio. You’ll work on cutting-edge projects, including some of the first randomised controlled trials of interventions for children in care.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong research skills (quantitative or mixed-methods)
  • Experience conducting/managing research projects from start to finish
  • A commitment to improving outcomes for individuals and communities through evidence-based insights.
