Job Details
LSHA is a small community based housing association with around 350 homes, primarily in Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. We are a small but dynamic team, defined by our vision to work for better housing and services for our tenants. Our strength comes from our size and our ‘one team’ approach.
We are currently looking to recruit someone with exceptional community investment and tenant engagement skill, to help us on our journey to improve our services and relationship with our tenants. You will be experienced in supporting tenants to have a voice in how services are developed, while developing our relationship with tenants. You will also link both tenants and LSHA into local community networks for support, greater opportunities and access to the community initiatives and investments available to them. This role will work closely with the wider team. Our size is an asset, with the right attitude, commitment and passion, we can get things done!
Applications are invited by submitting a CV and Supporting Statement (no more than 2 sides of A4).
This role is for 21 hours a week, with a mixture of home and office/estate based working. The full Job Description is available on our Website
Company
We are a small housing association, providing affordable homes and services in the south London boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. We are proud of our heritage which goes back to 1927. Our homes range in size from single people’s flats to large family houses, and we manage women-only accommodation and NHS key worker flats.
We are a community-based association with an honourable history of serving and working with diverse populations in south London. People are referred to us for housing by the local authorities in which we operate and by partner organisations helping those in housing need.
We are a non-profit making association, and surpluses are ploughed back into providing future homes. We do not operate our own waiting list and people are referred to us for housing by our local authority homelessness charity partners. We are managed by a voluntary board of management and our activities are carried out by paid staff.</p>
