We are now looking for a Membership and Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As our Membership and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our workspace for 18-30 year old entrepreneurs and freelancers in the creative industries.

Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our creative community, you will oversee member engagement, retention and programme delivery.

You will play a key role in fostering collaboration among members and managing the operational aspects of the workspace, including health and safety compliance, room bookings and customer service.

Leading the management of memberships, you will oversee the recruitment and retention of members, drive new memberships and support the delivery of events and workshops in collaboration with the Freelance & Entrepreneurship Programme Manager.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage the member induction process and CRM system
- Gather feedback and data to evaluate member experiences
- Build an alumni network to maintain connections with past members
- Manage the Workspace budget, report monthly revenue and handle member payments
- Line manage Workspace Co-ordinators and schedule their work rota
- Collaborate on developing the growth strategy for the workspace and identify external opportunities for member development

About You

To be considered as our Membership and Operations Manager, you will need:

- Experience managing a coworking space and/or workspace and engaging and building communities
- Experience managing CRM software or management systems for coworking spaces
- Experience planning, delivering and facilitating events and workshops
- Knowledge and understanding of the creative industries and the roles within it
- The ability to monitor expenditure, keep budgets and provide budgetary information
- Excellent people management and communication skills

Please note, this role will involve working some unsocial hours including some evening and weekend work.
