Harris Hill is recruiting for a Part Time Finance Manager for this well-established UK based Charity
- Part Time Finance Manager
- Report to the Chief Executive Officer
- 21 hours per week. Flexible over a 5-day working week.
- Mainly home-based working, with occasional need to attend in-person meetings and events around the UK.
- Salary: £50,000pa FTE
Qualifications and Experience
- Recognised Accounting Qualification – Full or Part Qualified Accountants
- Charity SORP experience
- SAGE and Microsoft Excel experience
Position
You will be responsible for the effective management of this Charity’s finances and financial processes from general bookkeeping to the production of annual accounts. The Finance Manager will support the CEO, Senior Management Team, board of trustees all budget holders by ensuring they have accurate and up-to-date financial information so the charity can meet its vision, mission, strategic aims and objectives.
The Finance Manager will ensure the timely and accurate completion of finance reports and annual accounts, set and monitor finance related KPIs and oversee the continuous improvement process in their payroll, procurement and bookkeeping systems.
Working with the CEO, the post-holder will ensure the charity functions effectively, has long-term financial viability and sustainability. The post-holder, in conjunction with the Treasurer, will ensure the Board meets its fiscal responsibilities and complies with all relevant regulatory requirements.
