University Schools Trust (UST) is a partnership of schools, universities, and public and private sector bodies. We are uniquely placed to change the educational landscape for the pupils, staff, parents and wider communities whom we serve.
Established in September 2016, UST currently comprises four member schools located in two London Boroughs:
St Paul’s Way School (SPW) 3 - 18 all-through school in Tower Hamlets
Royal Greenwich Trust School (RGTS) 11 - 18 secondary school in Greenwich
Cyril Jackson Primary School (CJPS) 3 - 11 primary school in Tower Hamlets
Sir William Burrough Primary School (SWB) 3 - 11 primary school in Tower Hamlets
We are excited to offer a varied and rewarding opportunity to help shape our new Partnerships and Fundraising department, working alongside the External Relations and Communications Lead.
The role will be crucial in launching the Trust’s fundraising and partnerships strategy, with key responsibilities including administration, research, networking, stakeholder engagement and event organising.
The successful candidate will deliver our 3 P Strategy: Programmes, People Awards & Projects. We believe this approach will enable us to attract investment, create positive community outcomes and develop a process that delivers sustainable impact.
This post would suit someone personable, organised and meticulous who enjoys working with a wide range of people and who would gain real satisfaction from helping to establishing a new role that will have wide ranging impact on students, staff and communities across the Trust.
Often the students in our schools have not been fortunate to experience a broad range of cultural capital building experiences, and so this role will be crucial in expanding horizons and sharing parts of the world thus far unseen to many of the prospective beneficiaries.
The successful applicant will have a background in relationship management, with the ability to form positive and impactful partnerships that support the delivery of organisational goals. They will be an excellent communicator, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be a collaborative team player, who will enjoy working closely with staff, students, parents and external organisations.
The post holder will also benefit from guidance from an experienced consultant who has a longstanding relationship with UST.
If you would like to play your part in building and delivering an outstanding leadership service for our Trust we would very much like to hear from you.
