Are you a PR or media relations expert with experience of securing high-quality media coverage at either an agency, charity or non-profit organisation? Are you interested in a part-time role, joining an International Development Children's Charity? This new PR and Media Officer role could be for you!

I’m looking to speak to someone with an excellent nose for a story, experience engaging with national print and broadcast journalists, who has a keen interest in current affairs and is passionate about working for a mission driven charity. 

If you have a strong news judgement with a track record of identifying pr and media opportunities for organisations and securing high-quality media coverage, I’d love to hear from you.

You will join a supportive and inclusive culture. The role is offered part-time working Monday- Thursday, with Friday's off. There is an opportunity to travel both across the UK and internationally. You will be based in commutable distance to Old Street, London, working minimum 1 day a week in the office. 

Benefits include:

  • Regular in-house training
  • Travel
  • Central London location: 5 mins from Liverpool St Station and Shoreditch High Street. (1 day a week in the office, 3 days flexible)
  • Salary £30,000 for 4 days. (not pro-rata’d!)
  • Part-time, 4 days a week. 
  • The role is permanent, but is offered as an initial 12 month contract, before being made permanent. (This is charity policy- I'm happy to explain further).
