We have an exciting opportunity for a paid internship at the organisations International Headquarters in London.

This would suit someone looking for exposure to huge number of countries and cultures and who enjoys detailed tasks.

Position: VAC0085 International Development Internship (research, coordination and learning)

Location: London

Salary: London Living Wage of £13.15 p/h (£5,523 fixed term of 12 weeks)

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

Contract: Internship fixed term of 12 weeks

Benefits: Generous pension scheme (auto enrolment with opt-out available) generous annual leave entitlement (pro rata for the duration of the contract)

About the Role

As part of this internship, you would oversee a mapping exercise carried out across the global organisation to enable International Headquarters to understand the many working groups and communities of practice that exist and their current scope and organisation. This will enable Programme Resources to better support these groups and to maximise the learning opportunities that might be possible by having a better understanding of our existing resources. It will also help to inform more strategic work in future.

You will gain valuable insight into the international development work of charity and would have access to personnel and resources to further any areas of your own interest throughout the period of the internship.

There are also some more opportunities for general experience within other International Development Services team at International Headquarters.

About You

You will have good research skills with excellent attention to detail, as well as good Microsoft Excel and organisational skills.
