Salary: £52,359- £54,877 per annum (Manchester salary is £47,459)

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Trust & Statutory Senior Manager to lead our Trust & Statutory fundraising team.

It is a truly exciting time to join Centrepoint, as we work towards our goal to end youth homelessness by 2037 and set out to implement our new fundraising growth strategy.  We have solid foundations to build on and are looking for a dynamic trust and statutory funding leader to take the team and portfolio to the next level. This is a critical role in an ambitious, successful and supportive team, with an opportunity to truly make your mark.

This ambitious individual will be responsible for a team bringing in income of over £1.4m per year, with a view to double income over the next 5 years.  Working closely with the Head of Relationship Fundraising and colleague across the organisation, you will lead on the development and implementation of refreshed Trust & Statutory funding strategies, ensuring we grow and diversify our donor and grant portfolio, and deliver sustained unrestricted and restricted income growth.  You will oversee the development of a strong pipeline across trusts, foundations and statutory sources, strengthening relationships with existing funders and working creatively to secure new opportunities in line with Centrepoint’s strategic plans.  You will lead and inspire your team, and proactively manage relationships with senior stakeholders, internally and externally. You will oversee budgeting and planning and be an active member of the Relationship Fundraising leadership team, shaping a high-performing and thriving department.

The ideal candidate for the role will have:

  • Experience of creating and implementing a successful trusts, foundations and/or institutional fundraising strategy.
  • A track record managing and building a high value and high-volume trust portfolio, with funders supporting a wide range of work.
  • Proven experience of securing and managing six and seven figure grants from a range of trusts, foundations and statutory sources
  • Excellent project management skills and experience managing their own and others’ work with tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities
  • An innovative and decisive approach, with strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills – verbal and written

The role is offered on a hybrid-working basis with home working combined with 2 days/week on average in our London or Manchester office.
