A leading national cancer charity are in search of an Events Manager to head up their 3rd party and challenge events team. Harris Hill are thrilled to be assisting them with their search.

This is a really exciting time to join the team, as they work together to hit their annual team target of £2.7 million through an exciting and innovative programme of fundraising events. In this role, the phenomenal direct impact of your work is abundantly clear, making it perfect for someone driven and motivated by the potential to really make a difference.

In this role, you will line manage 3 direct reports, supporting them to deliver a portfolio of 3rd party challenge events that will maximise income generation for the charity. You will use your exceptional leadership skills, superior knowledge of the challenge events space and creative thinking to steer the strategic development of the team and improve the existing portfolio. It is absolutely essential that you have strong experience of delivering 3rd party challenge events (e.g. London Marathon) start to finish.

If you’re an experienced events fundraiser who is looking to utilise their wealth of skills and experience to grow and develop a team, and contribute significantly to the strategic planning, then we want to hear from you! This could be the perfect next step in your charity fundraising career.

Salary: £38,857 p.a.
