About Us

Society of London Theatre (SOLT) and the UK Theatre Association (UK Theatre) are organisations that work with and on behalf of our Members to champion theatre, promote the performing arts and strengthen the theatre community.

Our Members include producers, theatre owners and managers who present shows in major commercial and grant-aided theatres, both in the capital and across the UK.

We are now looking for an Executive Assistant to our Co-Chief Executives and help our passionate team to fortify the performing arts.

The Role

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Co-Chief Executives of SOLT and UK Theatre.

Specifically, your role will involve diary management, booking travel and accommodation, preparation of any paperwork, monitoring the CEO inbox and liaising with stakeholders.

As well as administering a variety of meetings, you will draft agendas and take minutes. You will also co-ordinate any new Board inductions and assist in the organisation of the Laurence Olivier Bursaries.

About You

To be considered as an Executive Assistant, you will need:

- Previous experience of working within an Executive Assistant or PA role or a busy office environment
- A strong interest in theatre
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- The ability to multitask, to prioritise tasks and be both reactive and proactive
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- An excellent telephone manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Numeracy skills
- IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office packages
- A commitment to equality and diversity

We welcome those with experience of working in an Arts or creative environment, whether that’s recently or in a previous role.

The closing date for this role is the 24th August 2022. Interviews will be held on 30th August and 1st September.
