About The Charity

Our client is the leading family charity with trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children in communities across the UK. The charity is an umbrella organisation of circa 50 staff that works closely with a network of 184 local branches – all independent, registered charities.

About The Role:

The charity is currently looking for three Network Engagement Officers to join their team and support in building relationships, insight gathering and deepening our understanding of the charity's network around the UK.

The ideal candidate(s) will have excellent people skills, be good at building relationships, able to take initiative, plan projects and proactively look for ways to promote the work being done within the cohort of charity's branches they engage with.

These roles will lead in facilitating and supporting relationship building between a group of approximately 45 local sites, in order to assist in the understanding of their needs, shining a light on best practice in both practice and governance, and how to provide support where difficulties exist.

As part of a small team, you will also work across the organisation to bring your insight into their other functions including fundraising, communications and policy, and quality and development to contribute towards wider projects. You will likely bring experience from any of these areas from previous roles you have held.

Each Network Engagement Officer will cover a different region to include Northern Ireland, Scotland, or Southern England/Wales as part of a UK wide engagement team. The role is home based but will require regular travel around these areas, so a local base or local knowledge, while not essential, is welcomed.

If this sounds like your type of challenge, our client would be delighted to hear from you.

Closing date for applications: 5pm, Friday 26th August.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout this period. Candidates will also be sent the Interview questions ahead of their interview so that they may fully prepare.

To apply, please click the apply button. You will be taken to a simple CHM Recruit form where you can find out more information and complete your application by following the instructions.

As part of any recruitment process, the charity collects and processes personal data relating to job applicants.  You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to the organisation during the recruitment process.  However, if you do not provide the information, they may not be able to process your application properly or at all.

The organisation is committed to Equality of Opportunity and Diversity.  They wish to encourage applications from all parts of the community irrespective of gender, race, colour, age, sexual orientation, or disability.  Appointments will be based on merit, following an open and clear selection process.
