Mission Support Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity within the IDS Department for a Mission Support Coordinator. This is an important and challenging post within a committed and supportive department.

Position: Mission Support Coordinator

Location: City of London Millennium Bridge

Salary: £33,996.60 plus travel to work allowance up to £3,500 pa.

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: Contributory pension scheme, generous travel to work allowance, 25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays pa.

About the role:

As the Mission Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating a large portfolio of Mission Support projects covering a wide geographic range. You will need to be able to show flexibility, maturity, and the ability to work independently and within a team.

You will be working for a charity that is both a Christian Church and an international humanitarian charity, serving people around the globe in over 130 countries without prejudice or discrimination. Based in the City of London, you will work closely together as a team and with the wider organisation, enjoy a lively sense of humour and work from modern offices adjacent to the Millennium Bridge.

About you:

This post requires a person who is innovative and enjoys supporting people; the ability to remain calm under pressure, has problem solving skills, is confidential and is supportive of other staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

You will need to have empathy with the aims and objectives of the charity and be enthusiastic about enabling sustainable development for some of the poorest communities.
