About Sovereign

The Community Programme Co-ordinator (CPC) works closely with the Sovereign Executive and Board, and this not for profit company with a long history of supporting charitable initiatives, aims to gift the equivalent of between 5% and 10% of annual turnover to health and wellbeing good causes, particularly those that impact Leeds/Bradford and the wider Yorkshire region.

Role description

The Community Programme Co-ordinator (CPC) carries out an important role within the Sovereign Health Care group. Key responsibilities include liaising with Board members/Senior Managers on a regular basis, evaluating the funding requests received, advising which requests meet our criteria and current priorities, and then recommending awards within agreed parameters.

Due to the variety of the role, the CPC will be encouraged to challenge/input into the operational working of the Community Programme, suggesting different/alternative initiatives that ensure activities are fresh, relevant and add value to our objective of positively touch people’s lives, within the health and wellbeing space.

The CPC will from time to time support charities by lending their own experience to support and develop their fund raising activities.

150th Anniversary Celebrations

The CPC will be an integral part of this celebratory event.
