This nature and wildlife charity is seeking a creative and organised Membership Development Assistant to join their successful and ambitious Membership Team. This is an exciting time for Norfolk’s largest conservation charity as it journeys towards its centenary in 2026 and continues to expand its vital work for Norfolk’s wildlife and wild places.
This charity enjoys the support of almost 37,000 individual members, the highest number in the Trust’s history. The equivalent of almost 4% of Norfolk’s population support the organisation with subscriptions, the highest proportion of any of the 46 UK Wildlife Trusts, but at this exciting time for the charity their plans for membership and its vital contribution to the Trusts revenue are even more ambitious.
The new role of Membership Development Assistant is to support both the acquisition of new members, and retention of existing members, adding much needed capacity to an existing team of four.
They are currently seeking a creative and administratively sound individual to assume responsibility for some of the existing tasks of the team, as well as to add and deliver new initiatives to strengthen the growth and stewardship of our potential and existing member base. Administrative experience, particularly with a CRM database would be beneficial.
The employer offers the following benefits:
- Competitive annual leave entitlement 8 % employer contribution to Aviva pension (2% employee minimum)
- Group income protection and death in service benefits (for pension members)
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption policies
- Learning days
- All staff are eligible for free admission to our nature reserves and visitor centres.
If you have experience in membership marketing, administration or customer service and an interest in Norfolk’s wildlife, they would love to hear from you.
