ABOUT THE ROLE:
The VCS Partnerships and Engagement Manager will:
Embed partnership working with VCSE organisations within the local authority area.
Develop and support active, two-way communication and feedback mechanisms between the local authorities and the CCG. Create and strengthen VCSE leadership groups or alliances at system, place and neighbourhood levels to enable better co-ordination and communication within the VCSE sector.
JOB PURPOSE:
To lead and demonstrate the value of partnership working between the VCSE sector, the local authority, the Clinical Commissioning Group and other statutory bodies which will positively impact upon communities. To develop VCSE networks or alliances that enable the VCSE sector to play a full role as an equal partner with statutory bodies. To deputise for the VCWB Director.
