Up to £40,000  

Permanent, Full Time  

37.5 hours per week (full time) / part-time will be considered 

 

 

The Role 

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Events Producer to effectively lead the programming and operational delivery of an annual programme of events to support strategic priorities including, income generation, cultivation, industry connections, artistic output, and student experience. 

 

This is an exciting role for an experienced events producer/manager to work with the Development team and wider, under a new principal Niamh Dowling and new Chair Marcus Ryder, to deliver a vision for the future of a world leading academy in dramatic arts training.  Working with a small but expert team of five you will contribute to the delivery of Stage Critical.  The role has ample opportunity for progression and exposure to the full suite of high-profile events from guest nights around student productions to industry networking events, cultivation and fundraising dinners, galas, film screenings and special projects.   Last year their programme included a preview film screening of James Bond: No Time To Die, Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast, Summer Party hosted by Sotheby’s as well as theatre trips to Cabaret, The 47th, Life of Pi and a gala performance of Sweeney Todd to name a few. 

 

The successful candidate will have an interest in culture and a strong background in event management, experience of strategy across development and stakeholder engagement as well as a good understanding of how to collaborate on artistic programmes to support income generation.   

 

Working as part of the Development Department with the Head of Individual Giving and Development Manager you will be responsible for a programme of regular events live and online ensuring Talks, theatre trips, student productions as well as the Winter Concert, are planned collaboratively across our client to maximise engagement from stakeholders to meet identified KPIs. 

 

 

To be successful in this role you must have: 

  • Experience of developing and implementing an events strategy, plan and schedule. 
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of event management across fundraising, artistic and partnership events. 
  • An understanding of fundraising including income generating events. 
  • Experience of budgets and experience of reporting financial performance against targets. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill, with a fluent writing style and the ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of media. 
  • Expert event and project management skills.  
  • Creativity in designing event structure and content.
