We are now looking for a Major Gift and Legacy Manager, to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As the Major Gift and Legacy Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our portfolio of major donors, as well as overseeing and developing long term income.

Utilising our Fellowship programme and our legacy and marketing events, you will manage the donor pipeline to convert leads into major donors, whilst providing excellent stewardship to current major donors.

You will utilise data and analysis to develop an annual strategic plan for major donor fundraising and legacy marketing whilst developing a programme of, and hosting, high-quality events.

Working closely with the marketing team, you will seek to increase our potential donor base by producing a compelling marketing campaign that utilises high quality messaging and collateral.

This job involves some manual handling, for example cardboard boxes of stock, leaflets, deliveries, pull up banners, and similar materials for shows etc. 

About You

To be considered as a Major Gift and Legacy Manager, you will need:

- Demonstrable experience of donor relationship management to raise gifting and meet agreed targets
- The proven ability to manage a portfolio of donors and prospects
- A demonstrable track record of achieving targets
- Demonstrable entrepreneurial flair and the ability to manage budgets and financial records
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to present in a compelling and empathetic manner
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- A full, valid driving licence

Ideally, you will have experience of using databases and an interest in gardening and horticulture. Access to your own vehicle would also be highly beneficial.

Please note, this position will require a flexible attitude to work including the ability to work some evenings and weekends, as well as travelling across the UK.
