HEAD OF INDIVIDUAL GIVING

Salary: £44,547| Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week | Base: Knowsley

The Northwest Air Ambulance Charity (NWAA) provides rapid pre-hospital care needed to make a life changing difference.  We provide emergency medical treatment when time is critical.

The purpose of this role is to develop and implement the Individual Giving Strategy for NWAA to grow voluntary income through traditional direct marketing and digital channels. To support with the implementation of an effective supporter development and stewardship strategy to grow the value of NWAA’s existing individual supporter base, including donor cultivation, retention and upgrading.

The Head of Individual Giving will oversee a broad portfolio of fundraising products, with the responsibility for developing our cash, regular giving, lotteries and legacy activity/income whilst ensuring the charity delivers the highest levels of supporter care.

Our Ideal Candidate:

The Head of Individual Giving will be directly responsible for the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy for individual giving, lotteries and legacies. As senior member on the fundraising management team, you will lead and develop a high performing team to develop a strong portfolio of direct marketing activity and legacy products.

The ideal candidate will have significant fundraising knowledge and direct marketing experience using a range of digital and traditional DM channels. This individual will have a good track record of implementing strategies across DM and will be competent at financial management and budgeting. Additionally, they will have proven people management skills within a fundraising context.
