The Volunteer Experience Team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity are looking for a Volunteer Experience Advisor to join the team.
You will be supporting the Volunteer Experience Team with all administration activities relating to volunteering good practice throughout the volunteer journey, with a specific focus on recruitment and retention of volunteers. The role will see you regularly communicating with potential and existing volunteers by telephone and email and keeping SSAFA’s volunteer records up to date.
About the team
The team is dedicated to supporting our network of 2,700 volunteers as well as prospective volunteers.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have:

Experience of providing an administrative service to many internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrable good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database use

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, including being friendly and professional

Experience of volunteering or working with volunteers is desirable
