Digital Communications Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital specialist to oversee the content development and product development for the digital channels of an international charity
You will be working for an organisation that is both a Christian Church and an international humanitarian charity, serving people around the globe in over 130 countries without prejudice or discrimination. Based in the City of London, this role will suit an individual who is passionate about humanitarian aid.
Position: Digital Communications Specialist
Location: Based in London, but flexible working may be available
Salary: £30, 752.82 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time, 35 hours per week
Benefits: Contributory pension scheme, generous travel to work allowance, 25 days annual leave, plus 8 Bank Holidays per annum.

About the role:
As Digital Communications Specialist you will oversee the content development for the digital channels, oversee product development and provide project management for the digital elements of the charity’s campaigns.
The role of Digital Communication Specialist will see you:
- Oversee planning and content development for the digital channels.
- Take responsibility for the creation and posting of relevant and timely content.
- Oversee the development of digital products.
- Provide project management for the digital elements of their marketing campaigns.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers.
- Complete monthly reports on digital performance.
- Complete annual continuing professional development.
About you:
To be successful in the Digital Communication Specialist role, you will have:
- An excellent command of both written and spoken English.
- A passion for digital outreach and engagement.
- A strong track record of planning and managing content development across digital channels (including new channels). Extensive experience of digital project management.
- Outstanding stakeholder management.
- An understanding of the implications of GDPR for social media.
- Experience of digital channel measurement.
- You love to be part of a collaborative team.
- You need not be a practising Christian, but a sympathy with the aims, objectives and Mission will be essential.
- An understanding of the Christian calendar will be an advantage.
