We are all volunteers who choose to work together for the good of our town. Broadstairs Town Team is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity.

We are well supported in many ways by our community in Broadstairs and have a Volunteer Trustee Board of 5.

We maintain 9 garden sites in and around the town, ru litterpicks out of high season, support other local community groups and Manage The Broadstairs Town Shed, recipients of the Queen's Award for Volunteers in 2021.

We rely on small scale funding from individuals and local businesses and one off grants to fund materials for our projects where necessary. We also rely on the generosity of time and skills donated to all the projects we manage by local people.

There is an extraordinary willingness to volunteer in Broadstairs, not just for Town Team, but for the many other volunteer run community groups that make things happen.  We love to collaborate. We also put interested parties together, to help make things happen for our town.
