Place of work: Flexible
The Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships is a new role for Crohn’s & Colitis UK as we launch our new three-year strategy and ambitious fundraising plans. The Head will lead our income streams dedicated to developing key partnerships with significant funders including Corporate Partnerships, High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and Trusts and Foundations.
The Head will translate and operationalise the strategic objectives and priorities set out by the Charity. Building on the success of our current work, the Head will develop and deliver a Philanthropy Strategy and lead on the build and implementation of prospect research and pipeline management, ensuring we achieve our ambition to raise significant funds from corporate supporters, major donors and trusts.
About you
You will bring substantial experience of securing major donations from HNWIs as well as experience in initiating new corporate partnerships and trust relationships, resulting in increased income and profile for the charity. You will also be responsible for managing and developing your own portfolio of HNWIs and partners, driving cultivation and stewardship activity to achieve ambitious targets.
You will be creative, target-driven and resilient and have experience of navigating and working with stakeholders across an organisation.
The future
The charity is at a really exciting point. We are in excellent financial health and moving to a new strategy which will give you the chance to put a personal stamp on the actions we are taking to improve the quality of life for people with Crohn’s and Colitis.
Our location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail.
