Corporate Partnerships Manager

Starting between £35,620 - £42,000 per annum depending on experience
Permanent - Full-Time - Place of work: Flexible
Closing date: Monday 27th June 2022 (9am)

We're the UK's leading charity for Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Right now, an estimated 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of and for which there is no known cure. Because of the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding these diseases, thousands of people are suffering in silence. But they're not alone. We're here for them. And we're not going anywhere until we've beaten Crohn's and Colitis for good.

The role

Are you a successful, ambitious and target driven Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser? We have a great opportunity for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead our successful Corporate Partnerships Team.

The perfect candidate will be highly proactive, experienced and competent in new business generation, excellent account management and leadership. You will be responsible for leading the Corporate Fundraising Team to diversify our current corporate portfolio. We currently raise almost £700,000 from our corporate supporters but intend to increase our income significantly over the next 3 years. Do you have the ambition to help us get there?

With the support of two Officers, you will generate new income from companies, helping to develop strategic corporate partnerships and be effective at pitching and presenting at a senior level. You’ll work across all partnerships, including Charity of the Year, pharmaceutical partnerships, sponsorship and CRM opportunities, in order to develop and build high value relationships and increase engagement for long-term support.

About you

You’ll be an enthusiastic, confident, highly motivated, target oriented and experienced corporate fundraiser with excellent communication and networking skills. You’ll be driven to maximise income from opportunities through your negotiation and influencing abilities and be confident in producing high-quality written proposals and presenting to a range of different audiences. You’ll need experience of staff leadership, budgeting and financial management as well as working with databases.

If you like the sound of this position and think you have what we are looking for, then we would love to hear from you.

The future

The charity is at a really exciting point. We are in excellent financial health and just launched our new 3-year strategy which will give you the chance to put a personal stamp on the actions we are taking to improve the quality of life for people with Crohn’s and Colitis.

Our location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. But one thing we have learned from the pandemic, is that we are able to work very effectively from home. In this role, there is plenty of scope for doing that although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. It is possible therefore you could live almost anywhere in the country. If you want to be considered for the role but are worried about location, talk to us – it may work!

How to apply

If you would like to join us as Corporate Partnerships Manager, please apply via the button shown.
