We’re currently looking for a Head of Fundraising to guide our next stage of growth on a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract, working 35 hours per week.

The Role

As the Head of Fundraising, you will support the expansion of our footprint and ventures, by identifying and securing funding sources to maintain and grow our programmes across London, Cambridge and Peterborough.

Crucially, you will research and convert long term-funding solutions at various levels from governmental sources through to individual philanthropists. You will develop robust procedures and strategies to secure a substantial stream of funding for programme expansion.

Having secured funding, a critical element of this position will be to build strong relationships with our benefactors, ensuring their continued support, as well as increasing the prospects of enhanced funding.

About You

To be considered as the Head of Fundraising, you will need:

- Experience of relational fundraising with a track record of generating significant resources
- Experience of tender and bid writing, with evidence of success
- The proven ability to research and convert funding opportunities
- Awareness of a range of different approaches to fundraising and social investment
- The ability to develop strategic relationships and networks
- Excellent communication skills
