Who we are:

Stepping Out with Carers, a community interest company, delivers scenic, sociable walks and other activities to carers and the people they care for at different locations round the UK. It has evolved since 2016 from a one-off coastal stroll into a non-profit company offering walks, other adventures, training,  & online activities to a growing band of volunteers and participants.

We emphasise the positive, offering the natural health drug of fresh air exercise and good company to people, many of whom have suffered from loneliness, lack of physical activity, mental health decline and loss confidence during the pandemic. Such has been the success of the model we feel the time is right to open the same opportunity to a wider audience. Our mission is to introduce tailored versions of these walks to more people in more places more often.
