We are seeking an energetic and inspiring fundraiser who will spearhead the growth in income to deliver against our strategic plans.

This is a newly created role for a senior and accomplished fundraiser. You will head up the entire fundraising area working alongside colleagues in Brand and Engagement to deliver maximum value from leads coming off the back of our ground-breaking campaigning and influencing work.

You will be leading a passionate team of ten, including five direct reports; shaping and overseeing the implementation of strategic plans to maximise funding through Trusts, Major Donors and Corporates; and building long term sustainable income from Individual supporters and members.

Currently in year 3 of a 6-year strategy you will be instrumental in shaping the strategy to ensure we meet our income objectives.

As part of the senior management team, you will seek to maximise value from opportunities across the organisation and ensure that fundraising is consistent with the charity’s broader goals.

This role is pivotal in building relationships with our network of 42 local groups across England to motivate and inspire their fundraising on a local level, complimenting that run by the national team.

Your experience in developing High Net Worth relationships with Trusts, Major Donors and Corporates plays an equally important aspect of this senior role. 

The successful candidate will be an inspiring, collaborative leader who encourages integration and supports their team to succeed and achieve their potential.

You will have a proven track record of designing and delivering ambitious income growth strategies, including demonstrable experience of building regular giving and high value-based programmes.

You will also have a deep understanding of direct marketing and supporter engagement principles.

You will have significant experience of developing high net worth relationships and securing gifts from trusts, major donors, corporates and of organising special events.
