Fundraising Manager
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fundraising Manager to become a vital part of a small, friendly and ambitious fundraising team.
Position: Fundraising Manager
Location: Hybrid working by agreement from home and from the office in Maidenhead, Berkshire
Salary: starting at £34,764 - £39,334
Contract: Full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent
About the role:
Collectively the fundraising team raise approximately £350K annually and aspiring to grow income to over 50% by 2025. The role of Fundraising Manager will be exciting and varied; you will have responsibility for leading and growing Sporting Challenges, Individual Giving and Digital Fundraising. The ideal candidate will have high level experience in at least sporting challenge fundraising or individual giving.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Work with the team to meet or exceed the annual income budget
- Manage, deliver and grow the portfolio of challenge events to maximise income from this fundraising stream
- Manage and grow Individual Giving to maximise donations via Single Gift, Appeals, Regular Giving, Payroll Giving and In Memory Giving
- Work with the Communications Teams to plan and create social media and digital communication to increase engagement and fundraising
- Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with Trust and Foundation grant applications
About you:
This is a unique opportunity for a Fundraising professional to work on a wide variety of fundraising initiatives. If you have previous experience of fundraising, particularly within challenge events then this could be the role for you!
You will need to bring with you the following skills and experience:
- Experience of working within a charity in a similar role.
- Experience of developing new fundraising products and building a programme of engagement to grow fundraising income.
- Digital skills with experience of using a variety of online platforms
- Experience of using a CRM database
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal
- Self-starter with positive team working ethic who is willing to take the initiative and proactively engage with supporters
