Job Details

Headliners (UK) is a national charity that supports children and young people to have a voice. We have a 27-year track record of inspiring children and young people to investigate and challenge the world around them.

We operate in the North-East of England, London and Northern Ireland providing personal development, multi-media journalism, participation and social action/ volunteering programmes for children and young people aged 8-25 such as not in education, employment or training (NEET), young people are risk of exclusion, refugees and asylum seekers and young people transitioning or leaving care or with special educational needs (SEND).

As the world recovers from the pandemic and Headliners (UK) enters a new strategy period, we are looking for a creative and passionate charity professional that can help us achieve our vision - a world where young people's voices are heard.

Change has been a big part of the Headliners (UK) story over the past few years. We have developed new ways of delivering our programmes remotely, successfully recruited a new and diverse board of trustees, and have been working hard to develop talent within Headliners (UK) to help us achieve our mission.

Our current CEO is moving on to a new role, so the new CEO will join with a new strategic plan in place, with solid organisational foundations, which would work to make their own.

We are looking for someone who matches our values, coupled with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for ensuring the voice of young people is at the centre of our work.

If this sounds like the right role for you, please download our CEORecruitment Pack, get in touch or just apply to come and join our team.
