This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented creator with experience working to a brief to develop exceptional creative ideas and concepts, to join our passionate organisation.

In this key role, you will be the guardian of our written style and it will be up to you as to how we project our message and the work we do across our digital and online platforms, encouraging people to donate, rehome and help us to make sure that every pet can enjoy a healthy life in a happy home.

So, if you have outstanding project management skills and want to use your creative flair to support our vital mission, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for bringing our tone of voice to life across our digital and offline channels, engaging with our supporters and volunteers and promoting the brilliant work we do.

Working closely with the Creative Team and other designers, you will work to briefs and produce creative and captivating copy for a range of marketing and communication materials.

You’ll promote our work, get involved in scripting and transcribing videos, proof and edit collateral and even take the lead in projects and at meetings. This is an all-encompassing role that will keep you engaged, excited and enabled to dive into your creative pool.

About You

To be considered as a Copywriter, you will need:

- Demonstrable experience of working with a brief to develop creative ideas and concepts and presenting to clients
- Experience of fundraising, marketing and direct response writing
- Experience in the development of cross channel campaigns
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working to deadlines
- The ability to write compelling headlines and copy for digital, social and print
- The ability to work in a fast-moving, busy agency or studio environment
- The ability to build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Exceptional proofreading skills
- Exceptional grammar and use of the English language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

An understanding of the importance, and effective use, of branding would be beneficial, as would confidence in pitching and presenting ideas to teams.

A basic understanding of Acrobat would be equally desirable, as would the ability to learn new software skills.
