Pushkin House is looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated professional to the role of Head of Fundraising. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in strategy development, grant-making and stakeholder engagement.
Reporting to the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees you will implement and further develop the strategy for trust fundraising and build a portfolio of potential donors, engaging with them through phone calls, meetings, written correspondence and events, and by creating engaging proposals. You will also have experience in writing successful grant applications and will be on top of any new suitable grants that become available.
JOB OBJECTIVES

To develop a fundraising strategy and support Pushkin House in achieving significant income generation targets

To develop and cultivate a range of prospects and donors
-
To act as an advocate and spokesperson for Pushkin House at internal and external events
-
To re-develop and implement a new Pushkin House membership scheme
-
To secure sponsorships, grants and in-kind support for Pushkin House programming
-
To develop applications to major funding bodies for project-restricted fundraising
-
To lead fundraising and income generation for key projects including specific fundraising appeals.

To keep an up-to-date database of prospects and donors in Beacon CRM

To prepare and present reports to the Executive Director and the Board
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in strategy development, fundraising and grant-making

Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Experience of data analysis, IT and research to support fundraising growth

A strong understanding of strategic communications, marketing and how to raise an organisation’s profile and impact

An understanding of financial processes, budgeting and forecasting
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Experience in using the Beacon CRM system

Russian language skills
