This is an amazing opportunity for a housing support professional with experience of working with vulnerable women, to support vulnerable women across London.

You will have the chance engage in a vital and fulfilling role where you’ll regularly increase stability for women who have survived abuse, helping them to find sanctuary as you help to secure their housing situations.

We have endeavoured to build a supportive environment, for both our beneficiaries but also our amazing staff whose professional development we aim to nurture as we recognise their commitment and dedication.

The Role

As a Floating Support Worker, you will specialise in working with women for whom housing and risk of tenancy breakdown is a priority. You will provide specialist housing and domestic abuse support to women aged 18 and over.

Specifically, you will advocate for each woman effectively and empathically, whilst liaising with providers and stakeholders to ensure their accommodation needs are met. Whilst ensuring these needs are met, you will respond to women with effective crisis intervention and support.

Additionally, you will co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support, working with clients to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness. As you endeavour to increase stability for our service users, you will establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with housing services and partner agencies.

To be considered as a Floating Housing Support Worker, you will need:

- Experience of supporting women with complex and multiple needs
- Experience of supporting female survivors of domestic violence with housing and accommodation needs
- Experience of working in partnership with other organisations whilst ensuring safeguarding procedures
