Marketing, Events and Communications Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing professional with energy, drive and ambition to develop a marketing, events and communications strategy/plan for this amazing not for profit organisation.

The aim of the charity is to bring key stakeholders together around a table with the shared value of seeing the Partnership develop and continually grow into a sustainable, secure, and globally recognised business improvement district.

Position: Marketing, Events and Communications Manager

Location: London office based with some flexibility for homeworking

Salary: £ 30/40k depending on experience

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 35hrs per week

Closing Date: Friday 10 June

Interviews: w/c 20 June

About the Role:

As Marketing, Events and Communications Manager you will manage the work of the National and International Marketing key theme along with general marketing, events, and communications for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop/deliver communications strategies across the entire spectrum
  • Develop an annual marketing and events plan
  • Ensure that the budgets are adhered to and signed off
  • Increase the organisation’s profile across media and relevant social media platforms
  • Writing releases, articles, and statements
  • Lead on copywriting and production of marketing materials and key publications
  • Report on and analyse all aspects of communications
  • Create and deliver an events programme with all key themes
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
  • Overseeing the corporate website and social media
  • Overseeing the organization of photo shoots and any video production
  • Organising and attending events

About You:

The successful Marketing, Events and Communications Manager will bring with them the following skills and experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of communications and marketing strategies
  • A sound understanding of working with local and central Government
  • Demonstrable experience of working with media
  • Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and website management skills (CMS)
  • The ability to think creatively and be an excellent communicator both operationally and at a senior strategic level
  • Ability to manage a budget
  • The ability to work as part of a team, and on your own initiative
  • The ability to plan and prioritize work
  • Demonstrable experience in report writing and working to deadlines and targets
