Job Details
CSAN is the official agency of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales, tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice affecting people who live in these countries. We’re facing a steep rise in deep poverty, large numbers of refugees, and significant social, economic, and Church resources pressures. In 2021, CSAN launched its three-year strategy to extend the social mission of the Church in a post-Covid society.
You will contribute to an authoritative and accessible public voice for our domestic social concerns. You will also provide vital administrative support to ensure a smooth experience for individual learners in our planned Caritas Academy and our convening of Caritas network agencies in England and Wales.
CSAN expects all those working with the charity to share its commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk of harm.
Location: London, with support for remote working, regular travel in England and Wales, and rare travel overseas.
Contract: Permanent full-time, with occasional evening and weekend meetings.
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Closing date: 9 am, 30 May 2022
Interview date: 8 June 2022 in central London

Company
Centred on Christ, inspired by Catholic Social Teaching, our vision for the nations of England and Wales is of a civilisation of love, solidarity and justice, where the dignity of every human being is respected and upheld; where every person can flourish and live in peace and freedom as part of one human family; where there is no exclusion, discrimination, or dehumanising poverty; where the voices of the women, men and children in the most vulnerable situations are listened to, discerned, and inform action; where everyone is encouraged to contribute to the common good.
