Circa £35,000 p.a. depending on experience
18-month Fixed Term Contract with a view to going permanent subject to funding

For nearly three decades, the Money Advice Trust has been helping people across the UK to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence. We run National Debtline, offering free, independent, and confidential advice on personal debt over the phone and online, and Business Debtline, the UK’s only free dedicated debt advice service for small business owners. We are also train debt advisers and creditor staff in supporting people in vulnerable circumstances, and work to improve the UK’s money and debt environment through our influencing work.

With employees based across our London and, Birmingham offices as well as homeworkers, an effective internal communication and employee engagement is critical to the charity’s success. As a key member of the wider communications function, you will work closely with the HR team and other internal stakeholders to deliver the recently developed internal communications strategy.

This role will directly deliver a wide range of internal communications activities, as well as support departments across the charity with expert advice on how to communicate with colleagues. The successful candidate will have significant previous experience in internal communications – preferably with experience in communicating in innovating ways within contact centres and the challenges this brings. You must be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder relationships skills with the ability to influence and engage with a range of audiences. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage different priorities effectively.
