Business Partnerships and Sales Co-ordinator
Chalk Farm, London

About the Roundhouse:

The Roundhouse is a Grade II* listed independent performance and gig venue and is widely considered to be one of the UK’s best places to perform in and experience live music.

More than this, we are the UK’s leading Creative Centre for young people with 24 dedicated on-site studios and an advice base situated underneath the main space. Our programmes are embedded in the grounding principles of youth work and focus on young people’s creative potential. Through this we develop their confidence and skills to enable them to transition successfully into adulthood and into work.

About you:

The Roundhouse is seeking a Business Partnerships and Sales Coordinator (internally known as a Corporate Partnerships Coordinator) who has a passion for developing a career in fundraising and who has excellent organisation skills. You don’t need to have previous fundraising experience as we are pleased to support learning and development opportunities to support you. We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, good administration skills, keen to learn and passionate about bringing impact and value to Roundhouse and the young people we serve.

We welcome applications from people who feel they can bring their own experiences and ideas to the table and empower those around them to do the same. We encourage those currently underrepresented across the cultural sector and all intersections of our diverse society to apply.

The Role:

We are approaching the most exciting time in the Roundhouse’s history; In June 2021, works began on site for a new Creative Centre for 18-30 year olds. This new, dedicated young people’s space will complete our site, and allow us to significantly extend our work and introduce new “into work” programmes. These programmes are in pilot stage and involve corporate partners through mentoring and sharing key business skills directly with young people. By 2026/27, we will have doubled our reach, extended our programmes and be a leading example of best practice for upskilling the future generation.

The opening of our new building will mean lots of exciting opportunities for existing Corporate Partnerships and prospects, so this position will require a strong administrator who is a careful planner who can bring attention to detail in order to schedule our many exciting communications, events and ticketing requests from partners.

The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check, or be willing to undertake one, due to the nature of the role.

For more information please download the full job description and if you feel you have the skills and experience we are looking for, please click "Apply Now" to submit your application by Midnight on the 24th May 2022.
