Regional Partnerships Manager
Birmingham, West Midlands

About Us

ACH is dedicated to building a better future for refugees and migrants in the UK. We provide integration services that create opportunities for individuals to lead independent and ambitious lives.

What this means in practice, is that ACH is one of the UK’s leading organisations for refugee integration services with a business turnover of £6m. Our head office is in Bristol, reflecting where we started but, since 2008, we have grown considerably with a further 3 offices in the West Midlands covering Wolverhampton, Coventry and Birmingham. In delivery terms, this sees ACH providing accommodation-based integration services to over 800 refugees from over 40 different countries and community-based services to a further 1,500 refugees and migrants every year.

We are now looking for Regional Partnerships Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

The Benefits

- A salary of c£40,000 per annum
- 25 days’ holiday per annum plus bank holidays
- Company sick policy
- Pension scheme

This is a brilliant opportunity for a highly experienced business development professional, with a passion for the wellbeing and integration of refugees, to join our outstanding organisation.

As we undergo a period of dramatic growth, we will support you as you achieve your professional goals whilst helping to improve and enrich the lives of both refugees and their host communities.

So, if you have great local networks, professional knowledge and a desire to make a positive impact on refugees’ lives in your community, we want to hear from you!

The Role

Can you develop effective partnerships from the ground up whilst building stakeholder backing for a radical rethink of refugee integration and support across the West Midlands?

You’ve probably already initiated effective partnership work for a large social enterprise or private company with a solid social impact ethos or similar in the community or public sector and are looking for your next exciting challenge?

You will have a clear understanding of the political landscape in the region and instinctively know what the ingredients are to shape solid win-win long term relationships with local authorities, housing organisations and local employers.

If that’s you, why don’t you apply to join our diverse and dynamic team at ACH to help take us to the next level?

About You

To be considered as a Regional Partnerships Manager, you will need:

- A minimum of five years’ experience in business development and marketing environment
- Experience of managing and developing small teams

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell a vision
- The ability to negotiate successfully at a senior level
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent)
