This new role will work within the ITF Seafarers’ Trust to develop projects to support seafarers’ unions, welfare organisations and other stakeholders who deliver welfare services to seafarers and their families. The primary purpose of the ITFST Project Manager is to research, develop and roll out projects in collaboration with the Head of Trust. This role would suit a flexible, self-motivated professional, with a strong commitment to social justice, excellent communication skills, and proven experience of project management, ideally in the maritime and/or charities sector.

Due to the international aspects of the organisation’s work, a good working knowledge of another language would be an advantage.

Salary: This role offers a competitive salary, as well as additional staff benefits.

Location:  This role will be based in London, however, alternative locations overseas may also be considered, subject to the suitability of the candidate and the pre-existence of an ITF entity located in that country.

We are committed to flexible working at the ITF and since lockdown the Trust team has been working from home. We anticipate a hybrid working model, enabling staff to work from home as well as the office as we come out of the COVID pandemic.
