Are you looking for an exciting new challenge where you can make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people?

If you are a collaborative and supportive Project Manager, whose passion is to inspire and empower children and young people, we have just the challenge for you.

Derbyshire Voluntary Action and Chesterfield Football Club Community Trust have been working in partnership since April 2021 to develop social prescribing for young people in Chesterfield.  Thanks to new support from Derbyshire Community Healthcare Services and North Hardwick and Bolsover Primary Care Network, the partners are now looking to extend the initial pilot project through to March 2023, and to expand the management and delivery team to provide even more community-based support for 12-18 year-olds.

Employed by Derbyshire Voluntary Action and seconded to Chesterfield Football Club Community Trust, the project manager will line manage a team of four Link Workers, further develop the project’s fledgling relationships with partners and stakeholders, and work with colleagues across the partnership to monitor, evaluate and report the impact of the project.

Ideally you will have managed a children and young people’s service before and will have a great understanding of the many and complex challenges young people are currently experiencing.

This is a 12-month pilot project to test the success of a social prescribing approach with 12-18 year-olds in Bolsover and Chesterfield.

The post is subject to an enhanced level DBS check.

For an informal discussion, please contact Jacqui Willis, Chief Executive, Derbyshire Voluntary Action on 07956 882412.

Closing date: Tuesday 8 February 2022, 10.00am.

Interviews will be held on Monday 14 February and Tuesday 15 February 2022.

Start date: 4 April 2022.
