Are you experienced in community engagement? Are you a manager that can build, develop, and motivate a high performing team? Can you work with independence, intelligence, drive, and initiative? If the answer is ‘yes’, then they need you!

Our client a Wildlife Trust, is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and energetic Community Engagement Manager to co-create and deliver a new approach to community outreach and organisation in line with The Wildlife Trust’s transformational #TeamWilder initiative. The postholder will lead a specialist team of Engagement Officers to strategically nurture and develop relationships with individuals, local groups, schools, businesses, and other organisations right across Yorkshire in order to build a network of wildlife champions and catalyse and support self-sustaining community-led initiatives to facilitate a wilder future.

The postholder will develop and test a range of behaviour change and community action approaches, implement robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact of their work, and help to build #TeamWilder as a key strand of the Trust’s strategy.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

This organisation values diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive culture where everyone is able to be themselves and to reach their full potential.
