The Events and Communications Officer is an integral role in helping us to promote the work of the Foundation and the charities we support by leading, devising and delivering an expanding portfolio of Foundation events. Working within the communications team, this role will lead on the Foundation’s flagship annual events as well as scoping, shaping and project managing smaller, more frequent events and webinars for charities and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely and develop close working relationships with stakeholders across the Foundation, Lloyds Banking Group, charities and suppliers to deliver events that promote the Foundation’s values and objectives and enhance our reputation. We host a range of online and in person events from smaller learning events to large report launches and funding Q&As.

We are currently devising a new three year strategy due to launch in 2022 so you will be joining the Foundation during an exciting period and have the opportunity to help in the launch.

We are an independent charitable trust funded by the Lloyds Banking Group. We partner with small and local charities helping people overcome complex social issues such as mental health, homelessness and domestic abuse. Their size and understanding of the people and local communities they work with means they are able to make a life-changing impact where others cannot. But these charities are underfunded, under pressure and too often ignored.
