Governance Manager - Interim
Our client a small well established professional body is seeking an interim Governance Manager to join them ASAP for approx. 3-4 months while they recruit the payment post.
This will be a business-as-usual post to support the Head of HR and Compliance at a busy time for the organisation, you will come with previous experience in a similar role and able to grasp the process and step into the role quickly to had value and support what is a busy team.
You will be responsible for 2 staff members and hold key external and external relationships, day to day you will be leading on the governance function, provide high level administrative support with the Charity Commission, Act as the Secretary to the Board, Subcommittee and General Assembly. maintain and coordinate the annual calendar, ensure good governance is adhered too by all, providing reports, overseeing, and managing budgets and ensuring processes are maintained updated and followed.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and sector, have experience management people, budgets and experience running a Secretariat function.
This role is with a London based charity, they are offering most remote working on an interim basis but with the need to attend meetings in London as required (ad-hoc and no more than twice a month)
